Colossians 1:22 TPT
“And now there is nothing between you and Father-God, for He sees you as holy, flawless, and reclaimed.”
Two key themes are present in this Scripture. The first is the level of connection between our Father-God and ourselves. We are inseparable….the image I get is one of a mother holding her newborn baby directly to her skin. Skin to skin...nothing separating them.
The second theme is how our Father-God sees us. It reminds me of one of those cameras that can be worn so that it records everything that takes place. God has a camera where he continually sees us, but he sees our true selves, not the lies we believe about ourselves.
This is what he sees in his beloved children:
- Holy: set apart and pure
- Flawless: absolute perfection: as in a rare jewel
- Reclaimed: to take that which is lost, stolen or broken and restore it to its original glory
Father-God, I long for a tangible experience of being skin to skin with you as you nurture me as a mother nurtures her anticipated newborn. Give me a glimpse of your joy over me as a precious jewel! Amen.
When exercising, envision the buffing and polishing taking place in your body. Keep the vision of the precious jewel in front of you as your compelling vision for your brain to adopt!
